Should my kitchen sink be sealed?
I've been in my condo (gut rehabbed five years ago) for less than six months. As I've settled in, I've begun to notice the little imperfections (dings in the hardwood floor and cracking caulk along my tub tile and granite kitchen sinks cabinets). Recently, I noticed that there is no sealant at all between my stainless seal kitchen sink and granite countertop. There is a small gap between the two that collected some grim that I cleaned out with a toothpick. Should this sink be sealed with caulk or silicone or something? There is absolutely no sealant around the sink leading me to believe it was never sealed. My countertop is sitting on top of the sink. The sink is bolted to the countertop from beneath the counter.

american diabetic diet exchanges
is having just a bit of cherokee blood enough to cause diabetes?
i have a grandfather that was 1/8th cherokee and on my other side of the family i have a grandmother that was from north carolina and although i don't know if she was native american she really looked native physically and there was a name "barefoot" in the geneology book. anyway american diabetic diet exchanges i had a test of a high glucose reading recently and it was like pre-diabetic but i have changed my diet and now at home i have been testing myself and it's been normal ranges. my question is can a little bit of native american blood cause diabetes since it's so prevalent among their race? i'm skinny and athletic so i'm not the typical diabetic type. the only person in my immediate family that had it was my grandmother from north carolina and she was 70 when diagnosed so i'm trying to figure out why i'm getting a test result back of pre-diabetes when i'm extremely athletic and fit and have a healthy diet. although when i test myself lately i'm normal. could the test have been wrong?
